About This Book

I decided I wanted to get all my thoughts out of my head, wipe the slate clean, and start again. Listening to Chris Evans on Virgin Radio on the way to work in the morning, inspired me to write this., I thought that every song you hear evokes a memory, good or bad, and takes you to that moment in an instance. A song positions you, in a hotel room, at a school disco, kissing your first love, a divorce, a wedding, a loss – so many scenarios – like time travel. So “Tracks of my Tears” was born, you’ll note I have chosen my words wisely, as words can trigger an emotion, that bubbles in your gut, and erupts with a flood of tears in the blink of an eyelid. At work, in the car, in the shower, at the touch of a hand.
